Account Manager (Waltham)

This position requires a highly organized individual who has proven experience taking ownership of and managing multiple clients and agency staff. This person needs a proven track record of strategic thinking, plan development and execution for their clients. Manager responsibilities include client planning and daily oversight, sign-off on all client materials, PR plan development, understanding their client’s market and how it compares to key competitors. This position also requires select media outreach to top tier outlets and assisting with new business development and pitches. This person should have a strong media and blogger relations background in business-to-business and consumer technology public relations, including traditional and social media. Account Managers report to a vice president. Agency background is a must.

Qualifications

-   5 – 10 years of experience in PR
-   Agency experience is required
-   Experience in b2b or consumer technology
-   Experience managing teams and staff
-   Excellent writing, pitching and  presentation skills
-   B.S./B.A. public relations, marketing, communications, or related field
-   Ability to organize and manage multiple client responsibilities

 

Senior Account Executive (Waltham and San Francisco)

Reporting directly to a director or vice president, this senior account executive would serve as the day-to-day media liaison on a number of the agency’s flagship accounts. This person should have a strong media and blogger relations background in business-to-business and consumer technology public relations, including traditional and social media. They should have excellent writing skills, and clients communication and presentation skills are critical. This person should have significant experience pitching technology media, publications and bloggers. The ideal candidate should have approximately 3 to 5 years of experience. Agency background is a must.

Qualifications

-   3 – 5 years of experience in PR
-   Agency experience is required
-   Experience in b2b or consumer technology
-   B.S./B.A. public relations, marketing, communications, or related field
-   Excellent writing skills
-   Strong pitching skills
-   Ability to organize and manage multiple client responsibilities

 

Account Executive (Waltham and San Francisco)

A core media relations and social media practitioner. This position handles a large bulk of the media outreach, including writing projects, and they live and breathe social media. They should have excellent writing skills, and client communication and presentation skills are critical. The ideal candidate should have approximately 2 to 4 years of experience. Agency background is a must.

Qualifications

- 2 – 4 years of experience in PR
- Agency experience is required
- Experience in b2b or consumer technology
- B.S./B.A. public relations, marketing, communications, or related field
- Excellent writing skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills

 

Internship (San Francisco)

Interns at InkHouse don’t get coffee. We make sure internships involve performing the same day-to-day activities as our Account Coordinators. We’ll help you learn the basics of success in PR and social media, and once we see that you can excel, the sky is the limit. Our interns who take initiative have the opportunity to write articles, conduct media outreach, manage social media programs, and much more. 

Qualifications

-          Academic excellence

-          Superb writing skills

-          Experience with blogging, twitter and other social media

-          Excellent communication and presentation skills

-          Interest in media and news cycles

 

Design Internship (Waltham)

The design intern will be an extension of the graphics team and will work on infographics, websites, branding, layout design, print work, etc. The intern will be involved during the preliminary stages of the design process through the final stages of refinement and assist the team on tasks such as photo correction and manipulation, creating vector graphics and icons for larger projects, resizing and adjusting images, wireframing, and much more. You will be immersed in a fast-paced environment that offers hands-on learning opportunities and an introduction to agency life.

The position is a full-time, paid internship.

Qualifications

-          Ability to offer design solutions and contribute during brainstorming

-          Strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills

-          Illustration and HTML/CSS skills are a plus

-          Strong typography skills and attention to detail

-          BA in Graphic Design or Illustration (will consider strong candidates working towards their degree)

This position requires a highly organized individual who has proven experience taking ownership of and managing multiple clients and agency staff. This person needs a proven track record of strategic thinking, plan development and execution for their clients. Director responsibilities include client planning and daily oversight, sign-off on all client materials, PR plan development, understanding their client’s market and how it compares to key competitors, and taking responsibility for the growth of their client accounts.This position also requires select media outreach to top tier outlets and assisting with new business development and pitches. This person should have a strong media and blogger relations background in business-to-business and consumer technology public relations, including traditional and social media. They should have excellent writing, communication and presentation skills. The ideal candidate should have approximately 10+ years of experience. Agency background is a must.
